Came from Suffolk for a weekend away with my partner. We booked tickets online to watch the swingaholics and enjoyed it so much we decided to spend our second and last night here also. Relaxing and laid back atmosphere. No problem with finding seating as we got there early although it does fill up quickly. Will definitely visit again!!!

This is a small bar in a basement (of course!) that plays jazz every day of the week. My wife and I spent 3 very enjoyable hours on a Saturday night. We arrived at around 9.30 and got in no problem and found a space at the bar. Later on we were lucky and got some seats / table when other people left. The drinks are delicious (try the ginger beer with sloe gin), service OK and the music was good.

Fabulous place to listen to live music. The atmosphere is great. Well worth a visit but check the times it's open.

Great music and atmosphere.
However paying £7 for there to be no seats available is unfortunate, so I was standing and uncomfortable. Nowhere to put my drink either.
If they’re going to charge entry, at least make sure there’s somewhere we can actually be, and not just stood in the entranceway like a lemon.
I’m sure if you were lucky enough to have a table, you would have really enjoyed the night.
And £5.50 for a ginger beer (soft drink) is insane.
